SSH -
Telnet

You may connect to your server from within
your control panel using the SSH (Secure Shell) form of
Telnet.
Many of the features of Telnet are already
available in a more user friendly format within your control
panel. This feature is for more advanced users.

How it works:
Using the SSH form of Telnet ensures that all
information passes between your local computer and the server
in an encrypted form.
Clicking on the SSH Telnet icon within your
control panle.
A Java based tool will downloaded and run
automatically in a new window.
You will see a prompt for your SSH
Server/Alias with your domain name already displayed.
Simply press enter.
You will be prompted for your login (username)
which you must then enter.
If you get a pop up box stating "Host was not
found pre-installed"
simply ignore it and click "Yes" to the
"Continue anyway?" prompt.
You will be prompted for your master account
password which you must then enter.
You should then see the bash$ shell prompt.
When you are ready to close your connection,
enter "exit" to log out and then shut down the pop up box.
Return to the main control panel menu by using
your browser's back button.
